Scotrail services disrupted due to weather on Thursday 5th January

Following the poor weather conditions on Tuesday 3 January, the following Scotrail services will continue to be disrupted today, Thursday 5 January:

Inverness – Perth: Services are being disrupted due to a tree on the line at Dunkeld.

Dalmuir – Larkhall: There is currently no train service between these stations. Customers should travel on alternative trains to/from Motherwell, and buses are running between Motherwell and Larkhall. This is expected to continue until the end of service tonight.

Helensburgh Central – Edinburgh: Services between Helensburgh Central and Edinburgh will start from and terminate at Dumbarton Central. A replacement bus service will operate between Helensburgh Central and Dumbarton Central. This is expected to continue until the end of service tonight.

Milngavie – Motherwell / Lanark: Trains are being diverted and are unable to call at Newton, Blantyre, Hamilton West, Hamilton Central, Airbles and Holytown. Replacement buses will operate between Motherwell and Newton via Hamilton. This is expected to continue until the end of service this evening.

West Highland Line (Oban / Mallaig / Fort William): West Highland Line trains will start from and terminate at Crianlarich. A connecting bus service will operate between Glasgow Queen Street and Crianlarich. This is expected to continue until the end of service today.

Crossmyloof station: Trains from Glasgow Central to East Kilbride and Barrhead will NOT call at Crossmyloof because of damage to the station. Trains from Barrhead and East Kilbride to Glasgow will call at Crossmyloof as scheduled. Passengers should use the help point or speak to station staff for alternative travel arrangements.
